Baby Blessings and Child Welcoming Ceremonies
Are you looking for a way to welcome your child into the world, to celebrate your child’s arrival and to make public promises for your continued love and support?
I offer ceremonies that do just that – Baby Blessings, Child Welcomings, and Baby Namings.
Whatever you prefer to call it, this type of ceremony is an opportunity to:
• make vows to your child (of any age);
• designate godparents/guideparents;
• honor grandparents and other loved ones; and
• make wishes for your child as he/she sets forth into life.
The setting can be formal or informal; indoors or outdoors. The tone can be lighthearted or serious, spiritual or secular. It’s my goal to help you create a ceremony that expresses what you want to express – to yourselves, to your child(ren), to your family and guests.
I will work with you to create the perfect ceremony for your growing family. With your input, I will write an original ceremony that celebrates your child, and then officiate the ceremony for you and your guests. Along the way, I will provide unlimited phone/email consultations, research and resource materials, a PA system if we need it, and a keepsake copy of the ceremony script. Rates range from $400-$600.
